A Dietitian/Nutritionist advises individuals and groups on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits to promote overall health and prevent or manage medical conditions. They assess nutritional needs, develop personalized meal plans, provide education and counseling, and monitor clients progress towards their dietary goals. Dietitians work in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community or private practices.

Responsibilities
• Assess clients nutritional needs through interviews, health screenings, and dietary analysis.
• Develop personalized meal plans that align with clients goals and medical conditions.
• Educate clients on the role of nutrition in maintaining health and preventing diseases.
• Provide counseling on dietary modifications to manage specific conditions, such as diabetes or heart disease.
• Stay up-to-date with research and evidence-based practices in nutrition.
• Monitor clients progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to provide comprehensive care.

Requirements: Requirements:
• Bachelors degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field. Masters degree may be required for certain positions.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential or eligible for registration.
• Knowledge of human nutrition, diet therapy, and medical nutrition therapy.
• Excellent communication and counseling skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
