Description: Dispensing prescriptions: Pharmacists prepare and distribute prescription medications to patients.
Counseling patients: Pharmacists provide patients with information, guidance, and assistance to ensure they are taking their medications appropriately.
Managing inventory: Pharmacists ensure that there is an adequate supply of medications and that expired medications are disposed of properly.
Communicating with patients: Pharmacists speak with patients and their doctors regularly regarding their medications and treatments.
Processing patient insurance: Pharmacists process insurance claims for customers so that they can receive insurance payments.
Ensuring safe storage: Pharmacists ensure the safe storage and handling of pharmaceuticals.
Keeping up with regulations: Pharmacists keep up-to-date with pharmacy regulations and best practices.
Ensuring proper drug therapy: Pharmacists ensure individuals receive proper drug and therapeutic treatments for health issues.
The position is full time Sunday - Thursday with a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or pharmacology.
Proven experience as a pharmacist.
Valid license to practice as a pharmacist.
Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and software applications, used by pharmacies, such as MEDITECH and Mediware.
