- Draw blood: Use needles and other equipment to draw blood from patients or donors
Identify patients: Verify a patients identity using their ID or medical record
Label samples: Label the collected blood samples with the patients information
Store samples: Store the blood samples in a safe and sanitary manner
Deliver samples: Deliver the samples to the appropriate department for testing or processing
Educate patients: Explain the procedure to patients and help them feel more comfortable
Maintain records: Keep patient records up to date
Ensure safety: Follow proper sanitation and safety protocol
