- Description
- Histopathologists study organs, tissues, cells and genetics to help provide a diagnosis. Youll examine patients organs and tissues by eye and look at cellular samples under a microscope. Youll also undertake studies to provide diagnostic and prognostic information or determine the cause of death.
- Requirements
- A Ph.D. in medicine.
A minimum of 4 years of specialist training in histopathology.
Extensive knowledge of tissue sampling and analysis techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional clinical supervision skills to lead the biomedical team.
