Description
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to serve as a trusted ally on patients’ journey toward restoring motion and optimizing their functional abilities. Your role will be vital in maximizing their quality of life and movement potential across various aspects, including promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities
Identify and meet patients’ goals and needs
Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients’ motion and mobility
Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
Develop care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
Consult and practice with other health professionals
Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress
Document patient care services
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy (min 3 years course duration)
OR direct entry to a recognized program with the attainment of a MSc Degree in Physiotherapy

CERTIFICATION:
Valid BLS certificate. For DOH-Abu Dhabi Licensing application, the acceptable Basic Life Support (BLS) must be from accredited by one of the following bodies:
1. American Heart Association
2. European Resuscitation Council
3. New Zealand Resuscitation Council
4. Australian Resuscitation Council.
EXPERIENCE:
Not less than 3 years as a Physiotherapist in a hospital or clinical settings. Experience in acute hospital, inpatient post-acute intensive rehabilitation OR outpatient complex rehabilitation setting, home care setting.
Note: Community service will not be considered.
PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
The applicant must have a valid professional license to practice, or registration (where applicable) from home country and/or country of last employment.
Must be eligible for Department of Health license Abu-Dhabi or transferable UAE license as a Physiotherapist.
