- A fiber optic technician installs, maintains, and repairs fiber optic cables and related equipment. They work in industries such as telecommunications, cable television, and data centers.
- Requirements
- Should be well-versed in Fluke test, OTDR and other kinds of network cable testing.
Should be able to work in confined spaces as well as work at heights (if required)
Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, leakage detection devices, and test equipment.
