- We are looking for an inventive Biomedical Engineer to join our team, in order to develop pioneering biomedical technology. Your responsibilities will include working closely with professionals such as life scientists, chemists, and medical scientists to research the engineering aspects of biological systems. Your expertise in both engineering and biology will enable you to develop technological solutions to complex medical problems.
To be successful as a Biomedical Engineer you must be able to develop advanced healthcare technology and be able to advise others on how to use the technology effectively.
Biomedical Engineer Responsibilities:
Designing and creating biomedical technology such as artificial internal organs and body parts, machines, equipment, and software that can be used for diagnosing and treating medical problems.
Installing and calibrating biomedical machines, equipment, and software.
Evaluating the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical machines, equipment, and software.
Maintaining and repairing biomedical machines and equipment, when needed.
Providing technical support, when needed.
Keeping up-to-date service histories on all biomedical machines and equipment.
Training clinicians and other personnel on how to use biomedical machines and equipment, safely and effectively.
Researching new materials, technologies, and engineering aspects of biological processes and systems.
Writing reports and documents detailing protocols, policies, standards of use, maintenance, and repairs of biomedical equipment, machines, and software.
Disseminating knowledge about the biomedical engineering field through writing, teaching, or consulting.
Biomedical Engineer Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, biomedical science, or a related field.
Professional Licensed Engineer (P.E.) with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
Proven experience working within the field of biomedical engineering.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Great eye for design and the technical ability to transform designs into products.
Exceptional team-working and communication skills.

- Summary
Responsible for technical support in the country and guarantee the service level provided to customers in preventive maintenance, repair calls, emergency support as well as adequate technical know-how support to sales activities.
Your Responsibilities
Coordinate with Service Manager and Project Lead regarding planned system installations and carry out installations as per Roche standards
Carry out preventive maintenance and repair of systems as per Roche standards
Ensure all documentation of installations, Preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications and other activities are recorded in a timely and accurate manner in CRM software
Ensure reports and necessary documentation for all activities are provided to various stakeholders at customer site as per their policies
Ensures coverage and support in line with agreements with customers
Escalate technical issues, PRI/PSI to appropriate internal stakeholder and follow up for closure
Conduct basic maintenance training as per Roche standards to ensure customer is able to troubleshoot and maintain the instrument appropriately
Forecast spare parts of systems for line of expertise
Being up to date with all new information regarding products
Perform timely mandatory upgrades/ modifications for assigned systems
Proficiently use all available e services for proactive support and communicate benefits to all external stakeholders

Who You Are
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Electrical Engineering or Electronics
You have at least 3 years of experience as a biomedical Engineer or laboratory related field
You have hand-on working experience with Roche analyzers or lab systems including Serum Work Area (SWA) product line
You have strong problem solving skills, and are able to demonstrate advanced troubleshooting technique on biomedical equipment
You are able to provide technical leadership
You are customer focused and solution oriented
You are confident and able to work independently with minimum supervision
You are mobile and flexible

You are fluent in English language both spoken and written. Arabic is a plus, or any spoken language in the market
